I hear ya Izzy,  I want to try and give BC2 a shot.  When I look on my desktop to play a game,  seems like my mouse pointer would rather go to the MW2 shortcut.  Yes MW2 connectivity and lobbies are horrid but its the gameplay and quicker pace which I fell in love with in first MW that attracts me.
I would rather play in a more team oriented game like L4D or BC2 where you need each other.  I just get frustrated playing BC2, I cant put a finger on exactly what it is and to a fault I'm comparing it to MW series which is my main problem.
I'll really try to get into it when there's a few of you on playing it

And Izzy, I pre-ordered BC2 because I was excited, unlike a few of you who absolutely gave it no chance and only purchased it because it was a prize or a present.  trust me I dont want to throw 50 bucks down the tube so I will try <3

Woah, didn't mean to start a flame war here...  I am merely frustrated with the fact that every single fucking time I go to play the game, it's down, can't connect, and if I do connect, my game goes to desktop without any error (on 2 different COMPLETELY different technology computers that can handle the game specs).

Moreover, it takes me 3-4 minutes just to get back fucking in to pick a server and try again.  My friends list is spotty, sometimes it decides to work sometimes it doesn't.  Kind of like when I try to login to the game, sometimes it loads my stats, sometimes it doesn't.

My favorites never work, which makes this whole process much more annoying.

WHILE IN GAME, I like the gameplay for the most part, I wish there was a "hardcore" that was a little less "sniper friendly" - but, this is something I can get over.  Not that big of a deal.  Other than that, I really like the game.

Just to clarify, MW2 is one of the best games I've ever played.  If they didn't fuck up the ded servers thing and made the code a little less hacker friendly and/or take better precautions against hackers, the game would be the endo of my life.  So, fuck off and QQ moar.

I found if that I restart my computer every 3-4 days that I don't ever have the problem again.

Well, I played BC2 last night for 30-45 minutes (yeah, not long, didn't have that much time).  But guess what?  My friends list didn't work, nor did my favorites, BUT, once I got into the server, everything worked fine!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We may be onto something here!!!!

I still have my fingers crossed that IW changes their ways and allows dedi servs.  I probably will have my fingers crossed for a very long time with no luck, but hey, anything is possible.  As Op said, I'm sure they probably looked at BC2 numbers and realized that it would be in their favor to allow it.

New MOH does look sick, but, I'm not getting my hopes up for anything...  In response to Shar, I don't really think it's our fault that BC2 is buggy as hell.  I'm sure it will get worked out soon enough, and at that time we can give the game a serious try.  I wouldn't blaim the clan for a premature retarded launch.

Yeah, I'm ok with the gameplay stuff, the only things I would change would be:

1. No prone (not that big of a deal)
2. toggle crouch (not that big of a deal)
3. over powered snipers on HC
4. voice commands (man I miss those!!!! "ENEMY HELICOPTER SPOTTED"  "NO WAY MAN"
