Dragon Age: Origins

I know this isn't the kind of game everybody likes, but I happen to know a few in the clan who are interested and I'm sure some of you might like what you see.

Dragon Age: Origins is a new Dark Fantasy RPG from BioWare. You choose your characters race and starting origin out of 1 of 6 and this origin will determine how you are treated for the rest of the game (ie. You may be treated differently if you're a girl or a guy).

Dragon Age also does away with the idea of "Good" and "Bad" choices and instead leave you with a bunch of choices that are shades of grey. Your role in the game is as a Grey Warden, an elite fighter dedicated to defeating the hellish Darkspawn (basically zombie-like creatures who haven't shown up for 400 years).

For those interested you can sign up to social.bioware.com and download a free character creator for the PC version. You will be able to use these characters in the real game too.

Additionally, the game is now available for pre-purchase on Steam.

Mass Effect 2's release date is 26th of Jan incase some of you haven't heard. It's gonna be a good summer (or winter for you guys).

I got up at 5am for this game. It didn't disappoint. If you can get over slightly weak graphics (which are ok because all of our PCs should run it on high) then you will most likely enjoy this game.

I've played my origin story already and the story telling and complex moral choices you have to make are as good as ever from BioWare. Also, the combat is loads of fun, I cut a guard's head clean off and there was a glorious spilling of blood.

Did Beer and Ghost actually get this?

You could say that Ghost. Although this is like a much better version of WoW, where things you do and choices you make significantly affect the game world.
