-6GB XM3 DDR3 Ram (waiting for windows 7)
-950w coolmax power supply
-Cooler Master HAF 932 Case
-Same 'ol Raptor 10,000RPM HD
-Soublaster SE Sound
-Some dumb DVD RW w/ Lightscribe

So far, I'm really diggin' it.  It's fast as balls.  I bet my scores would be way higher if I was on XP instead of crappy vista.

monster system.  Im waiting for the 8 core i7(16 cores multi-threaded) before I upgrade.  Server ones are about to come out, so I guess Ill be waiting until the end of the year for the home versions.

After doing some legwork to find out about my above post, it looks like it may be over a year if the 8/16 core i7 comes to the desktop.  With that being said, I may just wait until the the whole i7 platform comes down in price.  My machine does the job now with what we play.  Still, that is a beast machine you have there.

So you and some people at work upgraded which got me hooked with the upgrade bug.  

Here is the BEFORE with the 3ghz dual core with the 4870:
