Video Card Problem?

Dunno whats up but when i play cod 4 or WoW for a a few minutes, my screen flickers then goes static screen.  CoD 5 works fine . . .any help be great.

Are you overclocking it? What sort of temperature is the gpu?

My x850 used to overheat in certain games only, it sounds like your card is doing that too.

might want to check and see if there are updated video drivers for your card and for that matter make sure all your updates are done IE: chipset, Bios and so on. 
Cant hurt to check for malware (malwarebytes) and spyware (spybot 1.62) clean up your temps with CCleaner and a good defrag with Diskeeper (free 30 day)

other thoughts:

fan on video still running?
video setting in game to High?
