spyware doctor problem

ive been using spyware doctor for awhile. and my brother fucked something up so i reinstalled it. when it went to run smartstart to get updates for spyware doctor it said my subscription is invalid and it exits. i cant do anything or start spyware doctor unless it updates. anyone know ho to fix this?  thnx
