New HardDrive problem

just bought a new 500GB SATA HD for my computer, running it on the 680i mobo

Well i hook it up, turn computer on, and in my computer. it only sees my main C:/ drive, nothing else.

i goto device manger, it tells me it is working fine.

am i missing something, anyone know?

Click start, run, type in diskmgmt.msc and hit enter. Check to see if it lists your harddrive. If it does than it just needs to be partitioned and formatted.
