I thought they feel in a never ending pit called retired fame, kind of like Cal Ripkin jr.

Dassy.....Post 1990 (Black Album), I definately agree with you.  Load, Re-Load and St. Anger are total shit.  A few tracks on Black are pretty good, but most are garbage.

I think St. Anger sold 9 copies, not including the 4 Beavis probably bought.

Oh...and Lars is a fuckin midget cunt.

I really like muse. The newer album with Starlight and all those others is great. Another band to keep your eye out for is "Say Anything".

I love 80s era Metallica but Tool is about infinite times better. Both bands structure their songs in basically the same complex way, yet, Tool takes it alot deeper. Plus, Tool has yet to make a truly bad song. Beat that.

And of course, Tool mentions me by name.  Post that tune again, Rash.

Das:
idk why u dont like 'em anymore, but i could take a 'loaded' guess.... but, this album's content (that they have shared to date) sound a whole lot to me like an extension of Master Of Puppets. I recall reading at the start of this record that they went back to their regular routine for writing (riffing, assembly, creation) instead of that shit idea of "lets bring in a boom-box, no songs, make shit up, and tape it - with no production".

Visit missionmetallica.com - there are 2 other videos there that have a little more "new music" content.

Sat:
The black album was good but a major change, shifted way over and i think alot of ppl couldn't handle the growth. And for the record, St.Anger is the ONLY metallica record I actually did not like. Not for the music so much but the production was total shit. However, the better version of StAnger (actually sounds a little better) is the DVD version that comes with it. It was the entire record recorded in rehersal w/Rob on bass instead of Bob Rock.  But having said all that, i really only care for Some Kind Of Monster on that album.
