no burn.  I kept a close eye on temps.  I had to push the vcore up to about 1.55 volts in order to give it enough juice to be stable at the high fsb speeds.  Normally, you dont want to go past 1.5 for high temp reasons.  at 4ghz, my idle temps were about 41c with temps at about 53c underload.  So I was well within range (normally you dont want to get past 65-70c).  I had my wicked heatsink/fan to thank for that.

Unfortunately, the "50" series cpu's are capped at a 9 multiplier so i had to push the fsb pretty high (444) to hit 4ghz.  Ice, you should have an esier time since you can adjust your multiplier past 9....of course you may not need to if your motherboard can handle the high fsb speeds.  I happen to have an extremely stable motherboard so I could push the fsb high.  I did have to crank the voltage up on the north and south bridge of the motherboard as well.

Overall it was an extremely good OC.  Very stable and very reasonable temps.  I will not keep it pushed that high simply becuase I do not want to reduce the life of the cpu.  However, I will most likely keep it OC'ed at about 3.6ghz.

320....and to Das, people who are interested in this kind of stuff care.  A lot of new members here and some of them may actually understand what overclocking is and exactly how to do it properly.  For those people, seeing a stable 4ghz OC is impressive.

All i'm going to say is PWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNT!!!  Bad ass... If I could figure out how to clock my e8400 more than 20%, I WOULD! :)

next time we hang out, if we have time and a calculator, we will push yours to its most stable limits.  your card should be about to OC easily past 3.5Ghz and maybe even to 4ghz or higher.  A lot of factors have to be taken into account, but if your particular cheap is of high quality (i.e. it came from a solid wafer from the factory) then it should be strong enough to go high.
