« on: May 11, 2009, 11:32:16 AM »
Well, I mentioned it briefly on vent so I figured why not post it here.
I have a Taylormade Burner Draw HT for sale on eBay for anyone interested.

That is in good condition.  I have a taylor made R580 but dont know how to use it.  I wouldnt want a draw version...id rather get used to a neutral club and learn how to hit straight.  ahha.  I did try a Callaway HT draw hybrid after hitting the neautral and it did help to straighten me out a little.  But still, id rather learn to hit it straight.  Besides, I might draw or fade on any given shot...might as well not make it worse.  haha.

god i suck at golf.

ps.  i didnt get that last 1000 dollar check in the mail Ice.  I think it got lost.

I usually shoot in the low to mid 80's but I have gone into the 90's when it counts proving that thinking too much ruins it for me.  Once there is money involved my game goes to crap.

I will pull it from eBay if someone here wants to purchase it, I just figured I would post it in case people were interested.  I didn't expect this much interest.  Hockey and Golf fans here, this is great!

Ghost, it's easy to say "change your swing to fix the slice" but some people (myself included) just have that tick in their swing that is tough to overcome.  I tried a trainer once and he pinpointed my problem but I would be damned if I can fix it.  It's most noticeable with my driver but I tend to snap my wrists at the impact point which puts an awkward spin on the ball.  The draw club corrects it but sometimes because its not horrible will send the ball into a draw (doing its job) making my shots less predictable.  I would rather have a small predictable slice and compensate with a slower club head speed than have an inconsistent and unpredictable hit.

I replaced this club with the Taylormade r7 which allows me to fine tune the weighting to compensate as needed.  If I try to hit a draw it likes to push it a little far but it does keep my slice a little more under control.
Just hitting straight would be inconceivable.

Average going rate on eBay is $100.00 + shipping used.

I'll go $75.00 plus $10.00 shipping.

Beer, it will likely go over my asking price in these forums.... If it gets above what I'm asking for in these forums, I will stick with the auction sale because I don't want to screw the bidders, but I will put 50% of it toward the servers, Deal?
