COD:WAW Patch v1.3 released

The CoD:WaW PC Patch 1.3 has released today. If you’re a console player, this really is irrelevant to you – but for all the PC fans, read on!

This patch is incremental, so you will be required to have Patch 1.2 installed in order to install 1.3. The most notable additions to this patch are the /record and /demo commands which allow you to record and view your MP matches for submission to tournaments, leagues, etc.

Notes:

    * /record and /demo enabled in MP.
    * Server Log File improvements, including:
          o Team Names on Kill loglines.
          o Round Win and Loss.
          o Timestamps.
          o Additional action logging (took flag, destroyed headquarters, planted bomb, etc).
    * Improved sound initialization for Vista - fixes loss of sound for audio devices set higher than 16 bit 48000 Hz.
    * Screenshots no longer overwrite each other.
    * Tweaked autobalance on select game modes.

great....let me go ahead and sum up my experience with this patch:

7:00 - ghost downloads patch
7:03 - ghost installs patch
7:05 - ghost restarts pc
7:07 - ghost trys to play the game to make sure everything is ok
7:09 - ghost realizes that his sound is fuzzord AGAIN
7:09-12am - ghost trys to fix the sound to cod5 for a 3rd time.
12am - frustrated, ghost goes to bed.

thats a bummer let me tell you how mine went...

6:15 download patch
6:25 install patch
restart, play...no problems
6:52am read ghosts post and laugh my ass off...
then save this pic to my photobucket...thats what i did today!
