And no idea how to fix it, so i cannot play it until it is fixed... any ideas?

A small update they said online you could mess with the quality to check if it works, it did not, and now im ventrilo is not working... fucking retarded patch.

Download Directsound or whatever sound software you use.

Ziddles, f you use windows vista, I had this ery same problem post patch at the Lan.

I had to go into control panel. Go to sounds. Double click your default. Click advance tab.  Turn down the quality to 16 bit 44100Hz

Then you just got to make sure your vent settings arent changed.
