I know scrolling is not legal in your servers. This isnt the debate here I just want to know how some of these guys shoot so fast i know I have been told with the Logitech g5 i believe you can shoot fast but i have used one and never noticed it being that much better. It just doesn't seem right how fast these guys shoot. Faster then me with a scroll wheel even that has settings for speed.

yeah it has something to do with the g15. set it up, hold down the key and it shoots faster then a scroll wheel. I dont think the server picks up on that all though it should

I use the G9 and the G5 before it and I can comfortably say that I can't click one mouse faster than another.

I've been accused often of scrolling and if you pay attention to my shots when I do randomly shoot fast it's never consistent... leading to debunking the macro idea.

If it's a macro, it's very consistent...they usually take the same number of shots every time or same increments of shots.  If the bind is for a quick 3 round burst then it will always be in an increment of 3 until they run into a number not divisible by 3 in their clip (the last 2 shots for example).

I also have a G15 keyboard and I have been using the same binds since Doom and Quake first came out, trying to use my keyboard to shoot is like trying to teach a cat to eat from it's little box... it's not happening.

You can do it with a standard Microsoft Optical wheel mouse as well.  It isn't hard to click fast with a G3 if you position your hands, and fingers right.

Thumb on middle bottom base of mouse.  Pinky on the opposite sade, same spot.  Index finger hovering just above the left click positioned really close to the scroll-wheel.  On this type of mouse, that is where the spring is located.

Practice and you can easily get off a full clip in 1 to 1.5 secs.
