A Tweeter, claiming to be an Infinity Ward playtester, posted a list of supposed features present in the next Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2, on the official Infinity Ward Twitter Stream:

* Vehicles will be in MW2
* M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
* Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
* M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
* Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
* There are more unknown weapons that will not return
* New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
* New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
* New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
* Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
* Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return
* Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
* Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
* Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1’s campaign)
* All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
* All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
* New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy’s Intel)
* New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
* Solider customization for each class (and each country)
* Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
* There are NO bots in local multiplayer
* Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
* NO guest players online, 1 player per console
* Killcam save feature
* There is blood and gore
* Offline/Online Co-op
* Story takes place in the Middle East
* Role as US marines return
* Ken Lally voice work in campaign
* Release is set for sometime in November
* New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
* Campaign-only weapons

Thanks for posting this Op, some nice features there im excited about the Killcam save feature and the M16 coming back if it actually does.  One thing i liked about Cod 5 was the blood and gore and similar effects when u would kill someone in that game which im sure will be in  MW2.  And im not to excited about the vehicles either but you can always turn them off for your server if you want so its not that big of a deal, plus i dont think there will be vehicles in every map.

Wow, this looks like a waste of 100 bucks (that's how much PC games cost in Australia, yes that is more than US even with conversion).
Same "favourite" maps, of course we all have different opinions, they're introducing the L85whateverthefuckitscalled which I hated in BF2, and to top it off they're going to let us use a CANADIAN gun...*shudder*..

As for Vehicles in game, COD WAW had that and it ended up being useless...

Yeah im looking forward to this. Im not shocked that they got rid of the G3, but im sure some weapon has replaced its low recoil accuracy and damage.I also like how the M16 has been altered. Sharpy is going to shit...

The L85A1 was great in Raven Shield too.

BF1942 was an excellent game, even with vehicles, but BF2 is and always will be shit. I might try the Project Reality mod for it though.

Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant). Its gonna be the best gun in the game, so fuck you Shar.

I will Garuntee it isnt the best gun in the game.
